  • How i remove stubborn tan

So I’m a BIG self tanner fan but removing it wasn’t always the easiest for me ….

Trying to remove old stubborn tan can be such a pain. I’ve gone threw it way to much , trust me.
Today i decided to share a few tips to make it that be easier to remove …

So before even trying to remove it , when wearing self tan you should be moisturizing day and night. This will keep your tan lasting longer and make removing it ALOT easier. Trust me this step is important.

You will know when the time comes and you need to remove it even though we want to hang onto it that one more day its time to get rid.

Grab a pair of exfoliating gloves! You can get them in any drugstore/pharmacy and they ycost less than €2 atleast.

So i don’t know about you but back like 2/3 years ago ,trying to find a good scrub to remove my tan was a pain … it just seemed none of them where tough enough to actually remove it.

Thankfully i have two scrubs that i always turn to. The first one is Cocoa Brown ‘Tough stuff’ , this scrub is a miracle when it comes to remove stubborn old tan and it smells good to. It has little exfoliating beads that help remove old tan and smooth your skin. My skin is left feeling so soft after this.

The next scrub is a scrub that i got sent about a month ago now to try out and i really love it. Its called ‘Bitchinskin match body scrub’ Its a peppermint & coconut scrub that smoothes the skin and helps with dry flakey skin to. The good thing about this scrub is it helps with skin conditions such as acne, flakiness and irritation and also helps with cellulite and wrinkles. I’ve really been enjoying using this .. my skin is thanking me to ha ha!.

After all that scrubbing you need to use a good moisturizer to keep the skin looking healthy.

Whats your favourite product to get rid of old tan?

I like the Tough Stuff from Cocoa Brown too. I don’t self tan but is a nice exfoliator in general. And those aren’t exfoliating beads in it though. That’s ground pumice stone. 😊

I’m definitely going to try out cocoa brown’s exfoilator, I always end up with patchy skin when my fake tan comes off so hopefully that will help x

I find Jan Marini- Bioglycolic Body Wash is great both pre-tan to exfoliate and also to remove leftover patches of tan when it’s fading. Also, I have recently started using Vita Liberata- pHenomenal tan that lasts 3 weeks which is good 🙂
