So were slowly coming out of winter and I don’t know about you but i like to be tanned no matter what season it is … I thought I’d share some of my favorite tans. It was requested after my makeup collection and my tan drawer featured in it.
Anyway , I’ll first start off with the basic one week tans.
Cocoa Brown is and always will be my favorite self tan range. I love there 1 hour tan in dark. I apply mine before going to bed and just shower it off in the morning. I find the first morning its a nice light-medium shade but as the day goes on you tan will still be developing (so give it a chance) i will apply another layer that night for about and hour or two and wash it before bed. I love the color it gives you. No orange just a nice golden color. Its really inexpensive to , its around 7.99 i think.
I picked up the sun kissed mousse in primark forever ago as i never heard of it. After using it i was sold. The color pay off its amazing, again I’ll apply it before bed and shower in the morning.
I then saw Laura ( from ‘mymakeupperspective’ on youtube ) on snapchat using a sunkissed self tanner but wasn’t the one i was using, i chatted to her for abit about where you can get it because the color of her was just golden! You can only purchase it online its the sunkissed rapid tan. You can leave it on for 60 minutes and shower or again all night…. I’ve gone true 3 bottles of this stuff. Amazing!
Last but least He-shi tan. The he-shi range is a bit pricey but absolutely amazing , the way it glides on and the color pay off. You do get what you pay for. I haven’t been using it as much as i used to but defiantly will be going back to it.
Next is moisturizer/gradual tanners.
I use gradual tanners if I’m really pale and just want a hint f colour or if my tan is starting to fade and want to give it a boost for the last few days.
My favorite are the Cocoa brown gradual tan & The dove derma spa
I love the cocoa brown gradual tan because it does have a hint of color. Some gradual tans don’t and its kind of scary because you defiantly don’t want to miss a spot. Cocoa brown smells amazing , its really easy to apply and it’s not sticky on the skin. It gives u a nice hint of color and you can build it up each day
I’ve been using the dove one for ages now, but i seen this one and wasn’t sure if they changed the formula and packaging or was it a whole new one.
This is apart of the spa range (which is amazing) I think i like this one better than the older version i had. It has a sheen so you can see where your putting it and again this one smells amazing , no fake tan smell.
Last but not least Instant tans.
I use instant tan all the time, either to give my self tanner a pick me up or if i need a tan last minute.
Of course Cocoa brown is featured (sorry for going on about the range lol) Its my favorite self tan brand,I was very excited when they brought out instant tans , there’s a matte option or a shimmer option, both are fab. Very easy to apply.
They recently brought out a new formula of the ‘lovely legs’ because the older version was abit orange tinted , the new formula is fab and well away from any orange , it give your legs a lovely golden color and it’s water resistant to.
My next all time favorite is the he-shi one day tan. This tan makes your skin look so flawless without looking cakey. Its a really light formula and stays on all day. Its very buildbale and gives a flawless finish.Would really recommend this.
My next favorite would have to be The rimmel instant bb skin perfecter tan. When buying this i wasn’t sure if i would like it or would it be to thick but it’s not. It nourishes your skin while making it look so smooth and bronzed.
Last but not least , Karora instan tan. This tan screams glow and shimmer. I don’t put it all over my body just the legs and maybe the chest area. Again its very light formula filled with sparkle and can be applied easily.
What’s your favorite self tanner?
