  • How i edit my instagram photos

Since sharing my instagram in a post i got asked how i edit my insta pictures so i decided to do it in a post. I’ll try keep it short , sweet and understandable lol …enjoy x
I do have an instagram ‘theme’. I like to have it looking really clean and put together.

I only use three apps in the whole process. VSCO Cam , Facetune & Instasquare maker

I use vsco cam first. I’m sure your all familiar with this app as its very popular.

Choose the photo you want to edit and a green square appears around it, click the paint brushes at the bottom and it brings you to the editing process.

There’s lots of filters you can choose from. I use HB1 , you can increase and decrease the intensity of the filter. I bring it to about a plus 7.

Then you slide up the bar at the bottom and click the first tool.

It brings you into a range of tools. I first crop the picture to fit the instagram square (1:1)

I then bring the exposure, contrast and saturation to a plus 1 (it varies on the picture)

I leave the temperature to 0

After saving it , it brings you back to the main screen, click the picture then the arrow at the bottom

It gives u a list of options. I usually save it to gallery.

I then go to facetune and upload the edited photo to there. I only use one tool in this app and that is to ‘whiten’ the picture.

Click the little whiten tool at the bottom and whiten wherever you want. Then simply save to your gallery.

Last but not least i go into instasquare maker. Click gallery option and upload the picture.

I only use one tool at the bottom and thats to create a border around my picture, i always use number three.

Then you can save it or upload it straight to instagram.

I hope this wasn’t to long! If you use any of my steps make sure to tag me on insta so i can see!

Make sure your following me on insta  so i can follow you back !

Do you have an insta theme?

Great post! Does instasquare let you put a white broader around your photo? I’ve been trying to find a good app for ages now to do that! Xx

Cute post! I am usually too lazy to edit my photos other than adjusting the colours for them to reflect closer what it’s like in real life. 😛

That one photo of you in the red dress is excellent. If you did it yourself it looks as if a professional photographer took it…
